Texans in Puerto Vallarta

Texans in Puerto Vallarta

The economy in my home state of Texas is booming again.  Austin, Dallas, San Antonio and especially Houston are among the fastest growing cities in the country. Most people think that the boom is mostly due to the revitalization of the oil and gas business. But other business segments are booming also, most notably technology.

I just returned from Austin where I maintain a home.  There are next to no FOR SALE signs in my neighborhood or in other parts of town as well.  This means there is very low available inventory and real estate prices are appreciating again (remember that?).

Of course Texas borders Mexico and Mexican culture has long been integrated into life in Texas. Tex-Mex food and Tejano music are to be found in every corner of the state right alongside BBQ and country/western music. Texas has the highest percentage of people of Mexican or Mexican-American heritage in the country.

Texans enjoy travelling to Mexico for pleasure and many move here to retire also.  Puerto Vallarta has direct flights from Houston (United) and Dallas (American).

I have so many wonderful clients from all over the state of Texas and I look forward to meeting other people who are interested in finding out about real estate investment opportunities in Puerto Vallarta.
